Father and Son Bonding

Vito is our first son. I and my husband spend so many times with him, as parents we have a role in his personal development. Here, I want to share about how important father and son bonding is. We know that relationship a son and his father greatly shapes the son's personality in the future. We can help our son to be a man we’ll be proud of by taking him on special father and son bonding. 

There are kind of activities allow a father to spend some needed one-on-one time with his son. They’re particularly conducive to bonding. Sometimes men don’t like to sit face to face and talk about their feelings. It’s much easier to open up when they’re doing something side by side, and they can just let the talk flow naturally. Usually a son sees his father as a role model. I think this is moment that matters.

While I do my homework or have my "me time", Vito spends his time with his father. I always ask them to send some pictures and videos while I go outside the house. My friend told me about Nucleus. It's a wireless home intercom system. I think it's really good device that can connect me to my child's room or the living room to make sure I don't miss the moments that matter while I am away. With a tap of a button on the application or on a connecting device, I can interact with my kid and my husband! Thankfully my husband is home enough to spend lots of time with Vito. These, what they do together at home:

Repairing broken things and Building air plane / vehicle model 

Vito loves to help while his father is doing some stuff reparations. They usually do this on weekends or holidays. It takes extra effort to make Vito feels important. Doing simple things at home could be one solution to a close relationship between a father and his son. Building and designing; the things that bound to excite any boy. While building the air plane or vehicle, we can inspire our son with some education.

Playing games

They love playing games together, turning on the console game and they can have some fun for hours together. Sometimes, my husband accompanies Vito to play some building game. It drops him right into a world where he can be the engineer of his own adventures. There are so many building parts and he can create anything such transforming vehicles. Also, playing board games is exciting activities, from UNO stacko to chess, the number of one-on-one games are endless. 

Doing some hobbies together is an effective way that can strengthen the bonds of father and his son. We also can have warm discussions with our son about his friends, teachers, school, and other things he does everyday. When we show concern about his life, he will feel more attached to us.
