Student Self Presenting at School

School is the best place to learn, make friends, and play together. Vito is still in kindergarten now, but in the next few months he's going to enter a primary school. Alhamdulillah, he’s been officially accepted in one of Islamic private schools in Bandung.

Bintang and Vito
At his school now, so many things're done for stimulating children's creativity, one of them is with holding the SSP (Student Self Presenting) every three months.

In the previous term, Vito class (Cow class) featuring a dance types of animals, accompanied by the song which also includes the voices of animals that represented by each student. They made their own animals' masks, helped by their class teacher named Ms. Eti. She is very creative in helping children develop good skills in academic and art.

Vito played as a cow, and he made a very good mask. Improving children's creativity is very effective in a fun way. The SSP which held by RA HAMKA on each term is very memorable for both parents and students as well. Each class always show their best performances.

More Than Just Petals: Flower Arranging is My Happy Place

Hey there, flower lovers! As someone who absolutely adores flowers, I wanted to chat a bit today about something that brings me so much joy. It's flower arranging! Seriously, my happy place involves a vase and some fresh blooms. Now, you might be thinking, "Isn't it just, like, sticking flowers in a vase?" And while, yes, that's technically part of it, there's so much more to it than meets the eye. It's a creative outlet, a mood booster, and honestly, a pretty skill to have in your back pocket.

My Experience Visiting Borobudur

Borobudur temple is one of the premier tourist objects in Indonesia. Several years ago I decided to go to Yogyakarta as a destination for cultural tourism. I had the opportunity to get into Keraton Yogyakarta, it's such a priceless experience. Then I scheduled a visit to Borobudur and Prambanan temples. My experience visiting Borobudur temple was quite exciting. From Yogyakarta I headed to Borobudur in the morning, after breakfast at the hotel. Borobudur is located about 40 km from the city of Yogyakarta or about 100 km from Semarang. Administratively Borobudur including the district of Magelang, Central Java. So many people thought that Borobudur is located in Yogyakarta, it is actually located in Magelang.

The Music-Obsessed Kid in Me Finally Got Her Wish

My earliest memories are steeped in music, all thanks to my mom. Actually she's a classical guitar player, and I can still picture her when her fingers dancing on the fret-board. She was the first person to teach me how to play guitar when I was just in elementary school. There's something beautiful and pure about the way she plays.  As I grew older, my fascination with music just expended. I was itching to learn more! I remember practically begging my parents for classical music lessons especially the violin and the piano. Unfortunately, life had other plans, We had just moved into a new house, and our savings were dedicated to school and settling in, so lessons just weren’t in the budget at that time. Honestly, though, it was fine.  When I was in junior high, my dad surprised me with a keyboard. I dove right into learning it, and I've loved having it.
